Zamalek Requests Postponement of Match Against Modern Sport
Egyptian press sources confirmed today, Thursday, that Zamalek club officials wish to postpone the match against Modern Sport, scheduled for next Sunday in the third round of the Egyptian League Cup, due to the match against Stellenbosch, set for April 8 in the second leg of the Confederation Cup quarter-finals.
According to press reports, Zamalek's management has submitted a new request to the Professional Clubs Association to postpone the match against Modern Sport, scheduled for next Sunday at Cairo International Stadium, due to the tight schedule before the Stellenbosch match next Wednesday.
It is worth mentioning that Zamalek drew 0-0 with Stellenbosch yesterday in the first leg of the Confederation Cup quarter-finals at Cape Town Stadium.
