Koundé: Achieving the Treble is Possible, and Facing Real Madrid Motivates Us

Barcelona defender Jules Koundé appeared in press statements after the victory over Atlético Madrid with a score of 1-0 in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semifinals, noting that the first leg ended 4-4.

Koundé said: "We see that achieving the treble is possible. We are still alive in all competitions, the road is long, but we have the team capable of achieving that if we continue to work as we have since the beginning of the season."

Regarding the clash with Real Madrid in the final: "Of course, facing Real Madrid motivates us. The Clasico always has a special character. We know they are a dangerous and great team, and they will enter the match with all their strength, but before that, we have other matches and we must focus on them."

He added: "This season we have had to suffer more than we should have, as happened against Benfica, for example. Today Atlético Madrid started the second half better, but we controlled the match differently, and I am happy about that. We defended as one team, and it is great to qualify even if it was only with a 1-0 win. This gives us confidence. We are performing well and playing well."

He concluded: "It is important to highlight the state of the team, not just the starting players, but also those coming off the bench. Teamwork is important.
