Guardiola Praises Marmoush: Dynamic with a Great Offensive Sense

Spanish coach Pep Guardiola of Manchester City expressed his happiness with the level displayed by Egyptian star Omar Marmoush following the 2-0 victory over Leicester City in the match held at the Etihad Stadium in the 30th round of the Premier League.

Guardiola stated: "Everyone must participate, especially the players close to the penalty area. Marmoush has a good offensive sense and impressive numbers despite his short time with us. He has great dynamism and presses well, and I am very happy with his performance."

He added: "We could have scored a third goal, but I am satisfied with the performance. We never gave up and continued to press until the end. We were focused and missed the chance for the third goal, but the team performed well overall."

Regarding Jack Grealish, he said: "It’s not easy when you don’t play regularly. Scoring goals helps him a lot, and playing in a more central position makes him more comfortable. He had a fantastic match."

On the title race and the Champions League, he remarked: "We have eight matches left, and each one will be crucial. After the tough Bournemouth match, we qualified for the semifinals in just three days. That helped us score early, and we missed the chance for the third goal, but the performance was good overall."
