Former Al Ahly Star Attacks Sherif Ekramy

Mohamed Joudah, the former Al Ahly star, attacked Sherif Ekramy, the goalkeeper of Pyramids, following the latter's statements regarding the reduction of penalties imposed on Al Ahly by the clubs association.

The association decided to cancel the deduction of 3 points from Al Ahly after the club withdrew from the summit match against Zamalek.

Mohamed Joudah shared Sherif Ekramy's statements on his Facebook page and commented: "The philosopher has become an expert in regulations, knowledgeable about consciences, and a judge of people's character and a trusted advisor."

He added: "By God, the peak of chaos and nonsense is represented in the fact that you are a goalkeeper in the first place, and your presence as a football goalkeeper is the biggest example of favoritism and nepotism at the expense of justice and truth, oh philosopher of your time."

Sherif Ekramy had said via the 'X' platform: "What is happening right now is the peak of chaos and nonsense... regardless of who benefits or who is harmed, the involvement of any calculations in decision-making or in the application of regulations is a farce that destroys the present and future of football."

He added: "The party that benefits today will likely be harmed tomorrow, because tailoring regulations in such an overt manner will cast doubt on everything and raise significant questions, increasing tension, fanaticism, and hatred."

He continued: "By the way, blind defense, ignoring mistakes and justifying them, and prioritizing interests over justice is not a sign of loyalty or sincerity; on the contrary, it is a serious harm... It is better to be honest and not compromise justice or truth, and to confront rather than justify."

He concluded: "Finally, positions in football are nothing but a reflection of people's character, morals, principles, and their way of thinking about life in general... In the end, if the truth and rational speech upset or are understood as hatred, then the problem is not in the words."
