The Points Crisis Ignites Competition in Roshan League
Wednesday 02-04-2025
Al-Nassr fans are still waiting for the Appeals Committee's decision regarding the protests submitted against Al-Wahda and Al-Urouba, which may affect the team's points in the Saudi Roshan League, amid possibilities of points being deducted or added for Al-Nassr.

The Al-Wahda management officially protested the postponement of Al-Nassr's match in round 22 for an hour due to the delay of the team's bus, demanding to consider it a withdrawal, but the Disciplinary Committee rejected the complaint for not following the correct procedures.

On the other hand, Al-Nassr appealed the Disciplinary Committee's decision to reject its protest against Al-Urouba, arguing that goalkeeper Rafi Al-Ruwaili was ineligible to participate in round 23 due to his commitment to another job, despite Al-Urouba confirming the validity of his registration.

Sports critic Hani Al-Dawood confirmed that Al-Nassr will not lose points from its match against Al-Wahda, indicating that the expected penalty will only be a financial fine due to the delay.

Al-Nassr is currently in third place with 51 points and is preparing to face Al-Hilal in the top match of round 26, in a game that could be decisive in the race for the title.
