Pyramids Defeats Royal Army with a Four-Goal Victory

The Egyptian club Pyramids achieved a significant victory over its Moroccan rival, the Royal Army, with a score of 4-1 in the match that brought the two teams together in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.

Pyramids opened the scoring early in the match through Fiston Mayele in the second minute after a brilliant pass from Mostafa Fathi.

Fiston Mayele returned again in the 12th minute to score the second goal, while in the 39th minute, Ibrahim Adel scored the third goal.

The players of the Royal Army managed to reduce the deficit by scoring their first goal in the 45+1 minute through Abdel Fattah Hadraf.

The players of Pyramids were not satisfied with this result and succeeded in scoring the fourth goal through Ibrahim Adel, the scorer of the third goal, in the 67th minute.

With this valuable victory, Pyramids places one foot in the qualification for the semi-finals of the African Champions League.

It is worth noting that the return match between the two teams will be on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, and will be held at the honorary stadium in Meknes.
