Liverpool FC has revealed its preparatory plan for the 2025/2026 season, which includes an Asian tour this summer led by their new coach Arne Slot, following years of absence from the continent.

The Reds will begin their preparations in mid-July, facing AC Milan on Saturday, July 26 in Hong Kong, in the opening match of the new Kai Tak Stadium, which hosts the Standard Chartered Cup.

After the match against Milan, Liverpool will continue their preparatory tour in Japan, where they will play friendly matches in preparation for the new season, with details to be announced later. The team will travel via Japan Airlines, the club's official partner, to ensure a comfortable journey.

This tour comes after Liverpool's visit to Singapore in 2023 and their return to Hong Kong for the first time since 2017.

Liverpool is preparing to face Everton on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, in the Merseyside Derby, as part of the Premier League competition.
