Reports have revealed that the Union team will lose the services of their foreign star, Steven Bergwijn, in the Jeddah Derby against Al-Ahli as part of the Roshan Saudi League competition.
The Union team will visit Al-Ahli in the 26th round of the Roshan Saudi League next Saturday.
According to the reports, Bergwijn, the Union winger, will not be able to participate in the highly anticipated Jeddah Derby against Al-Ahli due to unfitness.
Bergwijn will also definitely miss the Union's match against Al-Shabab in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup on Tuesday, and his chances of joining the next match against Al-Ahli have diminished.
Sources indicated that Bergwijn's chances of being available against Al-Ahli seem impossible, and the medical staff will work on preparing him for the matches following the Jeddah Derby.
