The medical and technical staff of the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club have determined the status of Tamer Mohamed Tamer, the team's star, regarding the upcoming match against Sudan's Al-Hilal scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, in the CAF Champions League.
Al-Ahly is preparing to host Al-Hilal in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League at Cairo International Stadium next Tuesday.
According to reports, the chances of Tamer Mohamed Tamer participating in the match against Sudan's Al-Hilal are slim due to his long absence from the pitch due to injury.
Sources indicated that both the medical and technical staff do not want to rush Tamer Mohamed's return to matches, and thus he will be out of consideration for the match against Sudan's Al-Hilal.
Tamer has been absent since his injury against Pachuca from Mexico in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup last December, as he suffered a partial tear in the lower part of the quadriceps muscle on the outer side.
