The network added that the company "VVD Promotions Ltd," owned by the Dutch star, has seen significant growth during the player's time with Liverpool, with its net assets rising to £10.4 million this year, compared to £2.4 million the previous year.
Reports had confirmed that Al-Hilal offered £16 million annually to the player to sign him.
