Barcelona took the lead in the 44th minute, after a direct free kick taken by Lamine Yamal, which deflected off Ladislav Krejčí and found the back of the net.
Girona managed to equalize through Arnaut Danjuma in the 52nd minute, and Robert Lewandowski scored the second goal for Barcelona in the 62nd minute,
and in the 86th minute, Ferran Torres netted the fourth goal, after receiving the ball, entering the penalty area, and skillfully shooting into the net.
With this victory, Barcelona increased its points tally to 66 at the top of the table, three points ahead of second-placed Real Madrid.
