Khaled El-Ghandour Attacks Al-Ahly
Media figure Khaled El-Ghandour attacked Al-Ahly club after it submitted two legal memos to the clubs' association and the Olympic committee.
El-Ghandour said on Facebook: "Isn’t it true that Al-Ahly submitted a complaint to the appeals committee of the clubs' association and the Olympic committee, especially after the decision was made, and there is no such thing as an appeal or levels of litigation in the association or the Olympic committee, which is not a competent authority in the first place?"
He continued: "I believe that Al-Ahly should wait for the decision of the appeals committee and then go to the international federation and afterwards to the Court of Arbitration for Sport; this is the correct progression."
Al-Ahly is preparing to face Sudan's Al-Hilal next Tuesday in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
