Carlo Alberto Lodi, the sporting director of Italian club Como, has resolved the speculation surrounding the future of the team's coach Cesc Fabregas and its young star Nico Paz, confirming their continued presence at the club despite interest from Europe's elite.

In his statements, Lodi said: "We are working on developing the team and will continue to build on what we have started. Fabregas and Nico Paz will remain with us after the end of the season, and I am confident of that."

Notably, media reports have indicated Real Madrid's desire to reclaim Nico Paz following his impressive performances, while AC Milan has shown interest in signing Fabregas to lead the team next season.

It is worth mentioning that Nico Paz's contract with Como extends until June 30, 2028, which gives the Italian club the advantage of retaining his services in the upcoming period.
