Pyramids Requests Foreign Referees for Al Ahly Match
The Egyptian Football Association announced yesterday, Friday, that it has received a request from Pyramids Club to bring in foreign referees for the match against Al Ahly in the league.
Al Ahly will face Pyramids on April 12 in the second round of the decisive phase of the Premier League.
Pyramids submitted an official request along with payment of the costs, immediately after the official bank holiday following the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
Al Ahly has not yet announced its position on continuing the league, as the club had previously confirmed its refusal to play any league matches until the summit match against Zamalek is held with foreign referees.
