Former Zamalek Player: Al Ahly Wins with the Help of Referees
Hossam Osama, a former Zamalek player, confirmed that Al Ahly wins its matches with the help of referees.
Al Ahly did not play in the 130th Cairo Derby against Zamalek in the league due to the management of the match by Egyptian referees, and the red team threatened to withdraw from the league as well.
Osama said on the program "Box to Box" on "etc" channel: "The referees favor Al Ahly and assist them a lot, and at the end of matches, they receive penalties."
He added: "I see no justification for Al Ahly's request for foreign referees before facing Zamalek in the Egyptian league."
He continued: "Al Ahly created a crisis in an exceptional league, and it should have stood by and supported the Egyptian referees, especially since it is one of the pillars of Egyptian football."
