Ancelotti Faces Jail Time Due to Tax Evasion
A Spanish media report stated that Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is at risk of imprisonment due to tax evasion.
The Spanish network "Cope" reported that Ancelotti will appear in court on Wednesday, facing charges of tax evasion amounting to one million euros dating back to 2015.
The session will be held at 12:00 PM Mecca time in Courtroom 30 of the Madrid Regional Court.
The public prosecutor has requested a four-year and nine-month prison sentence for Ancelotti, while the Attorney General has called for a five-year sentence for the Italian coach.
Previous reports confirmed that the Italian coach had reached a financial settlement in 2021.
