Al Ahly Insists on the Return of Mohamed Abdel-Monem
Friday 28-03-2025
Press sources revealed that Al Ahly officials are keen on regaining the services of Mohamed Abdel-Monem, the former team defender and current player for French club Nice, during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Al Ahly's insistence on bringing back Abdel-Monem is due to the defensive crisis the team is experiencing this season, attributed to numerous injuries and the decline in performance of some players.

According to press reports, Al Ahly's management is counting on Mohamed Abdel-Monem's desire to return to the team, as he feels uncomfortable at Nice.

Abdel-Monem transferred to Nice last summer on a four-year contract from Al Ahly.

The sources indicated that Mohamed Abdel-Monem is open to returning to Al Ahly if his French club agrees to his departure next summer.

The sources emphasized that Al Ahly's management wants to take advantage of the outstanding payments from the player's transfer to Nice, amounting to 1.9 million euros, in order to regain his services next summer.
