Hossam Abdel-Meguid Requests 15 Million to Extend His Contract with Zamalek

Zamalek officials are targeting to extend the contract of Hossam Abdel-Meguid, the team's player whose contract ends on June 30, 2026, in the near future.

According to press reports, the planning committee at Zamalek Club will hold a session with Hossam Abdel-Meguid in the coming days to finalize the extension of his contract with the team.

Sources indicated that the planning committee was waiting for the conclusion of Abdel-Meguid's participation with the Egyptian national team during the international break to meet with him and finalize the contract extension.

The sources also pointed out that the player requested an increase in his salary in the new contract with the club and the inclusion of a penalty clause in the contract, noting that he currently receives an annual salary of 1.5 million Egyptian pounds.

The reports concluded that the planning committee at Zamalek will discuss Hossam's request for an annual salary of 15 million pounds, as well as his request for a penalty clause, during the anticipated session between the parties in the upcoming period.
