Zamalek's Attempt to Sign Akram Tawfiq
Sports critic Abu Al-Maati Zaki confirmed that Zamalek attempted to sign Akram Tawfiq from Al-Ahly for 30 million Egyptian pounds.
Abu Al-Maati Zaki stated via his social media account: "Akram Tawfiq received an offer from Zamalek for 30 million Egyptian pounds this season."
He added: "He informed Zamalek officials of his refusal of the offer, emphasizing his desire to renew with Al-Ahly or move to Qatari side Al-Shamal."
Meanwhile, Al-Ahly is preparing to face Sudan's Al-Hilal in the first leg of the African Champions League quarter-finals on April 1st.
