Ancelotti Wins Best Italian Coach Award for 2024
Carlo Ancelotti, the head coach of Real Madrid, has been awarded the Best Italian Coach award for 2024, presented by the Italian Football Federation, after surpassing Gian Piero Gasperini, the coach of Atalanta.
Ancelotti's recognition comes as a result of the achievements he secured with Real Madrid last season, where he led the team to win the UEFA Champions League against Borussia Dortmund, in addition to clinching the La Liga title, outperforming Barcelona, along with the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
This marks the third award Ancelotti has received as Best Coach in 2024, having also won the FIFA Best award and the Ballon d'Or for Best Coach from France Football magazine.
In the current season, Ancelotti has led Real Madrid in 47 matches across all competitions, achieving victory in 33 of those encounters, while suffering defeat in 8 matches, with 6 games ending in a draw.
