Manchester United Targets Trincão
The Sun newspaper revealed that Manchester United is looking to sign Portuguese player Francisco Trincão, the star of Sporting Lisbon, during the upcoming summer transfer window to strengthen the right-wing position.
Coach Ruben Amorim hopes to leverage his previous relationship with Trincão when he was his coach at Sporting to persuade him to move to Old Trafford.
The player's value is around £35 million, with interest from Newcastle and Arsenal in acquiring him, while Barcelona has a clause that allows them to buy him back for over £20 million.
Trincão, who is 25 years old, has been performing exceptionally this season, having played 43 matches, scoring 9 goals, and providing 15 assists, as well as netting a brace against Denmark, leading the Portuguese national team to the semi-finals of the UEFA Nations League.
