Argentinian Marcelo Bielsa, the head coach of the Uruguay national team, has made a decision regarding his defender Ronald Araujo's return to Barcelona before the match against Osasuna in La Liga, opting to keep him in the national squad for the match against Bolivia in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," Bielsa has called up Araujo for the match against Bolivia on March 25 in La Paz, meaning the player will not be able to return to Barcelona in time for the postponed match against Osasuna, which poses a new problem for coach Hans Flick.

Araujo is scheduled to arrive in Barcelona on March 26, just 24 hours before the match against Osasuna, making his participation in the game unlikely, and his absence represents a new defensive crisis for Flick, who may have to rely on Eric Garcia in the backline, alongside the duo Frenkie de Jong and Pedri in midfield.

It is worth noting that Uruguay's match against Bolivia will take place on Tuesday, March 25, while Barcelona faces Osasuna on March 27 in a postponed La Liga match.
