A New Step by Al-Nassr in the Al-Ruwaili Case
The Saudi club Al-Nassr has taken a new step in the case of the participation of Rafe' Al-Ruwaili, the goalkeeper of Al-Orouba, in a match during the 23rd round of the Saudi Professional League, which ended with Al-Nassr’s loss by a score of 2-1.
Al-Nassr had previously filed a protest against the player's participation in the match, based on the player's connection to another job, which is considered a violation of the regulations. The protest was rejected by the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee.
According to sources from the program "Bara 18," the Al-Nassr management has submitted a request to the Appeals Committee of the Saudi Football Federation to challenge the decision of the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee regarding the case.
The same sources indicated that Al-Nassr submitted the appeal request after receiving the reasoning for the decision, confirming that the club intends to pursue the case through all stages of litigation.
