Decisive Decision Looms: Olmo's Fate to be Determined in Days

José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes, President of the Spanish Sports Authority, confirmed that the final decision regarding the registration of Olmo and Pau Victor in Barcelona's roster will be made soon, indicating that the deadline for resolution is April 7th.

Uribes explained in his statements that the authority allowed the registration of the players as a precautionary measure until the official decision is issued, adding, "Football is full of strange situations, but what Real Madrid did was respected, and 80% to 90% of clubs understood the decision."

The head of the authority emphasized the importance of protecting the professional careers of players, asserting that this issue will set a legal precedent that will be applied in similar cases across various sports in the future.

The Spanish La Liga had canceled the registration of Olmo and Pau Victor from Barcelona's roster last January, before the Sports Authority intervened to reconsider the decision.
