The President of Al-Orouba Discusses the Al-Ruwaili Case
Mouns Al-Dhawi, the president of Al-Orouba Club, spoke about the case of player Rafi Al-Ruwaili, confirming that it is the biggest issue in the Saudi League in recent times.
Al-Nasr Club had filed an official protest regarding Rafi Al-Ruwaili's participation in the match that took place in the 23rd round of the Saudi League due to the player being linked to another job.
Al-Dhawi said during the program "Dourina Ghair": "The case is the largest in the Saudi League in recent times, but I cannot speak about it as it is still under consideration."
He added: "But thank God, we are confident in our procedures, and we have a strong lawyer who is well-versed in the regulations, and Al-Orouba has not taken any step without being aware of all legal aspects."
The president of Al-Orouba clarified that the player will continue with the team and will participate in upcoming matches.
He continued: "Al-Orouba has obtained the 3 points from Al-Nasr both on and off the field, and Al-Nasr remains a brotherly club."
He concluded: "But just as Al-Nasr defends its rights, we do the same and defend our rights, and I am surprised by angry individuals because we are defending our rights."
