Liverpool Decides on Chiesa's Future

Italian reports have confirmed that Liverpool FC has decided to let go of its Italian winger Federico Chiesa during the upcoming summer transfer window, despite his joining the team at the beginning of this season.

According to "Football Italia", Chiesa has failed to deliver the expected performance, leading to a decrease in his playing time under Dutch coach Arne Slot, who has not been convinced of his capabilities in recent times.

Chiesa is close to returning to Serie A, but this may require him to reduce his current salary. Liverpool is considering the option of loaning him out instead of a permanent sale, with Napoli being one of the main clubs interested in acquiring the player, who is highly regarded by the team's coach Antonio Conte.

Luciano Spalletti, the coach of the Italian national team, welcomes Chiesa's return to Serie A, believing it would help him regain his form ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Chiesa has participated in only 11 matches for Liverpool this season, totaling 387 minutes, scoring two goals and providing two assists, which has not been enough to secure his future with the team.
