Documentation of Saudi Football History Postponed.. The Secret Lies in Ramadan and Eid
The Saudi Football Federation announced the postponement of the final meeting for the documentation team to next April, instead of March 25th.
The postponement came due to the meeting date coinciding with the month of Ramadan and the Eid al-Fitr holiday, to allow additional time for reviewing the final report.
In the meeting on January 27th, the team confirmed that the completion rate reached 96%, after documenting more than 50,000 matches over 123 years.
The documentation included around 2,000 local and international tournaments, in addition to a precise record of 1,141 matches played by the Saudi national team throughout its history.
