Sources have revealed that a Kuwaiti officiating crew will be in charge of managing the Saudi Arabia vs Japan match in the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Saudi national team will face their Japanese counterpart in the eighth round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup next Tuesday.
According to reports, Kuwaiti referee Ahmed Al-Ali will lead the upcoming Saudi Arabia vs Japan match, assisted by Abdulhadi Al-Anzi, Ahmed Sadiq, and Ammar Shankani.
Also part of the officiating crew is Abdullah Al-Jamali, who will oversee the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system, assisted by Abdullah Al-Kandari.
