Al-Ittihad Club is close to regaining the services of one of its prominent stars ahead of the match against Al-Shabab in the King Abdulaziz Cup, which will take place on Tuesday, April 1.
Sources have reported that there is optimism within Al-Ittihad regarding the return of midfielder Hossam Aouar before the match against Al-Shabab in the King's Cup.
Reports indicate that Dutch player Steven Bergwijn will participate in the Jeddah derby against Al-Ahli in the Roshan Saudi League on April 5.
Bergwijn is currently undergoing individual training in the Netherlands while wearing a splint on the injured area to ensure complete rest before starting the second rehabilitation phase.
It is worth mentioning that Al-Ittihad qualified for the semi-finals of the King's Cup after defeating Al-Hilal in a penalty shootout 3-1, following a 2-2 draw at the end of the match, while Al-Shabab overcame Al-Faihah with a score of 2-1 in the quarter-finals.
