Egyptian press sources revealed on Friday evening that Zamalek club officials have decided to extend the contracts of the trio Nasser Maher, Nabil Emad Donja, and Ahmed Hamdi after the current season ends.
Nasser Maher's contract with Zamalek expires in 2028, Donja's in 2026, and Ahmed Hamdi's in 2027, according to the press sources.
According to reports, the planning committee at Zamalek has devised a solid plan to retain the services of the mentioned trio by extending their contracts after the end of the current season.
The sources clarified that the planning committee at Zamalek wants to extend the contracts of the trio early to avoid repeating the scenario that recently occurred with Ahmed Sayed Zizo, where players whose contracts were expiring entered the free period, putting the club's management under pressure, as they stated.
The sources emphasized that the club management will open the file for extending the trio's contracts at the end of the current season, after finalizing the extensions for Mahmoud El-Wensh, Ahmed Zizo, and Abdullah El-Said.
