Ahmed Adel, the former Al Ahly star, attacked Omar El-Saai, the red team's player, due to his modest performance in yesterday's match against Enppi in the Cairo Capital Cup.

Al Ahly lost to Enppi with a score of 1-0 in a match that was part of the first round of the Cairo Capital Cup.

Adel said during the "Box to Box" program on "etc" channel: "The performance of Al Ahly players against Enppi raises questions, and I do not blame the players returning from injuries, but the players who participated should have provided a better performance than that."

He continued: "Koller relied on certain elements in Al Ahly, and this was evident in the many players being below their level in the Enppi match, and this was reflected in Omar El-Saai's performance, which does not qualify him to be a player in Al Ahly, and Omar El-Saai did not take advantage of the opportunities he received."

He added: "Al Ahly always has no starters and substitutes, and if a player participates for 5 minutes, he should perform well. The players in the Enppi match were expected to seize the opportunity, but they showed a modest performance."

He concluded: "The return of Ali Maaloul is the biggest gain for Al Ahly from the Enppi match, and it is the only gain. After his entry, he made a difference in the team's performance, and he will return to his level quickly. If he regains 50% of his level, he will be better than any player."
