The Saudi national team arrived in Japan today, Friday, to face the Samurai on Tuesday in the eighth round of Group C of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

After the arrival of the Saudi Green delegation in Japan, the duo Mohammed Kanno and Hassan Kadsh were absent from the Saudi trip due to their injuries.

According to a statement from the Saudi national team, French coach Hervé Renard decided to exclude Mohammed Kanno from the Japan trip based on a report from the medical staff that confirmed the player's unavailability for the Samurai match.

It is noted that Kanno missed the Saudi national team's victory over their Chinese counterpart yesterday with a clean goal, due to suffering from pain in the hamstring.

Hassan Kadsh also sustained an injury to his forehead and below the eye in the match against China yesterday, Thursday, which led to his exit from the match and his absence from the confrontation with Japan.
