This is after he scored the second goal for his country in the match that saw them win against Bolivia with a score of 3-1 in the qualifiers.

Guerrero becomes the oldest player to score a goal in the South American World Cup qualifiers at the age of 41 years and 78 days.

This is his first goal with the national team in an official match in 6 years, following his last goal against Brazil in 2019.

It is worth noting that Guerrero, who currently plays for the Peruvian club Alianza Lima, has scored 40 goals in 124 matches with the national team.
