
Al-Ghandour Reveals a Surprise Regarding the Egyptian National Team
Media figure Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed a surprise that Hossam Hassan, the coach of the Egyptian national team, is preparing for during the match against Ethiopia.
Tomorrow, Friday, the Egyptian national team will meet its Ethiopian counterpart in the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
Al-Ghandour stated in remarks on "Al-Mahwar" channel: "Hossam Hassan is thinking significantly about playing with three players in the defense line to organize the back line strongly and build attacks starting from controlling the ball from the defense line to the attack."
He added: "It has been evident during the training sessions that Hossam Hassan relies on three players in the back line, namely Rami Rabia, Mohamed Abdel-Monem, and Hamdi Fathy."
He continued: "The head coach emphasized during his talk with the defenders the necessity of focusing and being fully prepared to be deployed at any time."
