Reda Abdel Aal, the former Egyptian football star, has criticized Ahmed Sayed Zizo, the star of Zamalek, due to his recent poor performance, asserting that he does not deserve to be included in the national team.

Tomorrow, the Egyptian national team will face their Ethiopian counterpart in the fifth round of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

Reda Abdel Aal stated on the "Al-Bremo" program on "Ten" channel: "Ahmed Mustafa Zizo, the star of Zamalek, has been far from his usual level lately, and he does not deserve to be included in the national team list. I would have preferred to see Mohannad Lashin, the midfielder from Pyramids, called up instead of him. There are also questions regarding the absence of a left-back in the squad."

He added: "I hope to rest Mohamed Salah in the upcoming match against Ethiopia, allowing him to participate in the second match against Sierra Leone next Tuesday at Cairo Stadium."
