Al-Ahli Interested in Signing Ali Al-Lajami
The Saudi newspaper "Asharq Al-Awsat" confirmed Al-Ahli's desire to sign Ali Al-Lajami, the star of Al-Nassr, after he entered the free agency period of his contract.
The newspaper clarified that there are other clubs interested in acquiring the player, but Al-Ahli has the highest financial offer.
Fernando Hierro, the sporting director of Al-Nassr, led the first phase of renewing Al-Lajami's contract, but it was not completed, and currently, Majed Al-Jumaan, the CEO of Al-Nassr, is handling the negotiations for renewing the player's contract.
Al-Lajami is considered one of the key pillars relied upon by Al-Nassr's coach, Stefano Pioli.
