Officially.. Moamen Soliman Returns to Lead Iraqi Police
The Iraqi Police Club announced the return of Egyptian coach Moamen Soliman to take over the technical leadership of the team, in a new coaching term, after his recent departure from Al-Ahly Benghazi in Libya.
Soliman had mutually terminated his contract with the Libyan club at the beginning of March, returning once again to the Police, where he previously achieved significant successes with the team.
The Iraqi club published a statement on its official Facebook page stating: "The journey of glory continues, and ambition is renewed with the return of the coach."
Soliman has an impressive record with the Police, having led them in two previous terms, where he won the Iraqi league title in the first term, and then achieved a league and Iraq Cup double in the second, making him one of the most successful coaches in the club's history.
The Egyptian coach commented on his departure from Al-Ahly Benghazi, indicating that his decision came after an amicable agreement with the club's management, as he begins a new challenge with the Iraqi Police, in an attempt to add more titles to his illustrious record.
