Enrique: The Match Against Marseille Was Like a Champions League Encounter
Luis Enrique, the head coach of Paris Saint-Germain, expressed his immense happiness after his team's victory in the French Clasico against traditional rival Marseille with a score of 3-1, in the match held on Sunday evening at the Parc des Princes as part of the 26th round of Ligue 1.
Enrique spoke about the difficulty of the encounter, noting that the match resembled Champions League fixtures due to the intense rivalry between the two teams: "It was a tense and difficult match, very much like Champions League encounters."
He affirmed: "However, we were able to achieve victory against a strong opponent like Marseille, who showed great character and proved to be a technically impressive team."
Paris Saint-Germain repeated its dominance over Marseille for the second time this season, having previously won 3-0 in the first leg.
