
Zamalek Advances to the Semi-Finals of the Egypt Cup
The match between Zamalek and Smouha, held today as part of the quarter-finals of the Egypt Cup, ended with a victory for the whites with a score of 4-2.
Zamalek took the lead through Seif El-Din El-Jaziri in the 12th minute, and Smouha equalized through Mohamed Mostafa Mido in the 25th minute.
In the 45+2 minute, Mohamed Salem scored Smouha's second goal, then Barakat Hegag, a Smouha player, scored an own goal in the 59th minute. Zamalek then scored a third goal in the 61st minute through Mahmoud Bentayk, bringing the score to 3-2 in favor of Zamalek.
In the 90+5 minute, Mostafa Shalaby added the fourth goal for the whites.
With this victory, Zamalek qualifies for the semi-finals of the Egypt Cup.
