Motsipe: Salah Deserves the Ballon d'Or
South African Patrice Motsepe, president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), confirmed that Egyptian Mohamed Salah, the star of Liverpool FC, deserves to win the Ballon d'Or this year.
Motsepe said on ON Sport channel: "Mohamed Salah deserves to win the Ballon d'Or 100%."
He added: "Salah is the best player in the world, he is exceptional and makes us proud, and nothing makes us happier than seeing one of our continent's sons win the Ballon d'Or; he truly deserves it."
Mohamed Salah is having a remarkable season with Liverpool, having scored 32 goals and provided 22 assists in 42 matches across various competitions.
