Al Ahly Plans to File a Complaint Against the Egyptian Football Association and the Clubs Association at FIFA
There is a state of turmoil within Al Ahly club following the penalties imposed on the team by the Clubs Association after the Cairo Derby crisis.
Ahmed Hassan stated on Facebook: "Exclusive.. Al Ahly is preparing an official complaint to submit to FIFA against the Football Association and the Clubs Association."
The penalties imposed on Al Ahly are as follows:
- The match result is confirmed with Zamalek declared the winner with a score of 3-0 according to Article (4.17) of the competition regulations.
- A deduction of three points from Al Ahly, in addition to the points from the match in which they were considered defeated (the points from the Zamalek match).
- Al Ahly must bear all losses resulting from the loss of income from commercial contracts, broadcasting contracts, and all other expenses incurred due to participation in the competition matches prior to withdrawal, based on a demand issued by the rights holders, according to Article (8.17) of the competition regulations.
