Amr Adib Launches Attack on Al Ahly

The famous media figure Amr Adib harshly criticized Al Ahly club following the crisis of the summit match, responding to a post circulating on the "X" platform by a sports critic, which included the expected decisions regarding the penalty for Al Ahly after its withdrawal against Zamalek.

Al Ahly refused to play the summit match against Zamalek, which was scheduled for last Tuesday in the first round of the decisive phase of the Premier League, as they demanded the presence of foreign referees to manage the match.

The circulating post on the "X" platform stated: "The expected decision to be announced tomorrow, Saturday, is as follows: considering Al Ahly as withdrawn and losing 3 points. The appeal regarding the other 3 points will be considered based on the justifications provided and the circumstances surrounding the correspondence with the association and the Football Federation to preserve Al Ahly's reputation in front of its fans, but the appeal may be rejected and the 3 points deducted. Al Ahly will also be held accountable for the financial losses resulting from its withdrawal from the match despite being officially notified by the relevant authorities about holding the match at its scheduled time."

Amr Adib responded, saying: "Come on, Shadi, this doesn't work. Are we going to make a special deal for Al Ahly? There’s no way to hold the stick from the middle. The 6 points are clear. Otherwise, we might as well go weigh outside."

He continued: "Guys, if you want to flatter him, give him the league in the federation. If you want the truth, deduct the 6 points. The truth is clear, and flattery and other meanings are very clear."
