Sudanese Al-Hilal: Ready to Face Al-Ahly
Mohamed Al-Aliqi, the Vice President of Sudanese Al-Hilal, stated that his team is ready to face Al-Ahly in April in the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.
Al-Aliqi said in televised statements: "The technical staff decided to enter a training camp in Tunisia, arranging two friendly matches against strong teams to prepare with focus for the Al-Ahly match."
He added: "Al-Hilal is a big team and is developing significantly year after year, and we hope that qualification will be our lot against Al-Ahly."
Regarding the repetition of facing the red team, he said: "It is a normal match between Al-Ahly and Al-Hilal; this is not the first time the two teams meet, as they have previously faced each other in several competitions."
He concluded: "We have arranged everything and are ready for Al-Ahly, and we hope that qualification will be our lot."
