Shalaby: There is no division regarding withdrawal from the league

Saeed Shalaby, the executive director of Al-Ahly Club, revealed that the club's board of directors did not reject the inclusion of youth national team players, confirming that the players will be present in the national teams as usual.

Shalaby stated: "Al-Ahly has a national responsibility towards the national teams, and everyone remembers when the national team was present in the Africa Cup of Nations, and we were participating in the Club World Cup, and the regulations allowed us to call up our players, but Al-Khatib confirmed that the national team has priority."

He continued: "We are only talking about Al-Ahly, and we will not speak on behalf of others or other clubs, and when something happens, we will announce it, and Al-Ahly is clear in its dealings, and the board is in continuous session."

He continued his statements: "Regardless of the results, the interest of Egyptian football is more important, and the confusion in Egyptian football must come to an end."

When asked about the existence of a division in the council regarding the decision to withdraw, he replied: "The council members unanimously agreed on the decision, and all members were present, and Al-Khatib was keen to cut his medical leave and attend the meeting."
