Al Ahly Refuses to Fine Amr Solia
Reports have revealed that Al Ahly officials have refused to impose a financial fine on Amr Solia, the team's midfielder, after he was involved in a verbal altercation yesterday at the club's headquarters in Nasr City with a member of the General Assembly amidst mutual insults between the two parties.
According to the reports, Mohamed Shawky, the deputy sports director of Al Ahly, conducted an investigation with Amr Solia to understand what happened yesterday between him and a member of the club's General Assembly due to the absence from the summit match against Zamalek.
Sources revealed that players from the club and branch security intervened to resolve the altercation between Amr Solia and a club member out of fear that it might escalate into a physical confrontation between them.
The sources clarified that Shawky held a meeting with Solia during the Al Ahly camp, which continued despite the withdrawal from the Zamalek match.
The sources emphasized that the sports director did not impose any financial fine on the player but warned him against getting into problems with the fans again.
