The Zamalek Club Board of Directors announced on Tuesday evening the activation of the purchase clause for Moroccan player Mahmoud Bentayki from French club Saint-Étienne.

Zamalek published an official statement announcing that the player has officially signed new contracts with Zamalek for three seasons starting from the next season, ending his contract at the conclusion of the 2027-2028 season.

It is worth noting that Zamalek acquired Mahmoud Bentayki from Saint-Étienne on loan for one season during the last summer transfer window, with an option to purchase the player.

The Board of Directors of the White Castle has completed all procedures related to activating the purchase clause for the player for three seasons, as part of Zamalek's plan to retain the outstanding players in the team.
