Al-Ahly Announces Its Stance on the Match Against Zamalek
Ahmed Hassan, the former Zamalek star, revealed that Al-Ahly will announce its position on participating in the summit match against Zamalek in the Premier League within minutes.
Ahmed Hassan stated via Facebook: "A source in Al-Ahly: The final decision regarding the summit match will be announced to us within minutes after Hani Abu Rida communicated with Mahmoud El-Khatib several times today to try to resolve the crisis."
The match is scheduled to kick off at 9:30 PM Cairo time and 10:30 PM Mecca time.
Al-Ahly had issued a statement a few hours ago confirming its desire to postpone the match against Zamalek and its insistence on bringing in foreign referees to officiate the game.
