Announcement Date for the Iraqi National Team List for World Cup Qualifiers

The Iraqi Football Association has officially set the date for the announcement of the final list of the Iraqi national team, which is preparing for two important matches against Kuwait and Palestine on the 20th and 25th of March this month, while denying all leaks that have circulated in the media.

The Football Association clarified that the news circulated by the media and social media is completely unfounded and merely consists of speculations that are very far from reality, indicating that coach Jesus Casas will arrive in the capital Baghdad today, Tuesday, and will then hold a meeting with the Football Association, after which the list will be announced officially.

It was noted that the national team delegation will travel to Basra next Friday to engage in a closed internal training camp hosted by the sports city hotels there.

It is worth mentioning that the Iraqi national team occupies the second place in its group with a total of (11) points, which were collected from three wins, two draws, and one loss away from home against South Korea.
