Tchouaméni: We Will Not Play for a Draw, What is Happening with Mbappé is Amazing

Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni appeared at a press conference to discuss tomorrow's match against Atlético Madrid in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.

On playing as a center-back and in midfield, he noted: "The two positions are different; playing as a defender gives you more time to play the ball and it's hard to concentrate, while in midfield you have to be focused because you can receive the ball and defend at the same time; they are two different things."

He added: "We know that there are criticisms all the time. You can be at the best level in the world, and people will talk about your level. With experience, we learn what to do. Sometimes you face situations like criticism, but what matters is to work and do the same things. If you do things right, you will play well."

He continued: "My goal is to improve all the time. With the ball and without it, Camavinga and Modrić are amazing players with different qualities. It is a pleasure to play with both of them. They can do a lot of things that make it easier for the team."

He elaborated: "Atlético will play an attacking match, but we know what to do, especially in defense and midfield. We won the first match, but tomorrow we will not go for a draw; we will go to win. We have to give our best offensively and defensively."

Regarding Ancelotti's praise for his character, he said: "As I said, the most important thing is to stay focused; it doesn't matter what happens during the match.
