Tuesday 11-03-2025
Al Ahly club has decided to insist on postponing the Zamalek match in the Premier League, which is scheduled for today, Tuesday, at 9:30 PM Cairo time.

Al Ahly rejected the holding of the match with an Egyptian refereeing crew and insisted on bringing in foreign referees to officiate the match.

In the event that Al Ahly withdraws from the match, the following penalties will be imposed on the club:

The club will be relegated to the fourth division next season and will be banned from participating in the competition for the next two seasons.

A fine of 20 million Egyptian pounds will be imposed on the club.

The club will bear the losses resulting from the expected loss of income from commercial contracts, broadcasting, and all other expenses incurred from participating in the matches of the competition prior to withdrawal.

All points, goals scored, and goals conceded in all its matches played during the first phase will be counted (and will be taken into account when determining the ranking of teams in the competition), and all penalties determined by the Disciplinary Committee will remain as they are, in addition to all yellow and red cards recorded against the team during the aforementioned matches.

The results of all matches played by the withdrawing team during the final phase until withdrawal will be canceled (all points and goals scored and goals conceded will not be counted when determining the ranking of the competition), and the penalties issued by the Disciplinary Committee will remain in effect, along with the yellow or red cards received by its players or officials during any match of the competition.
